Maintenance

Motley digging tools, like any top-quality tool, deserve good maintenance. Be sure to clean them by water rinsing/non-metallic brushing and perhaps applying a light coating of acid-free mineral oil such as machine oil, linseed oil, silicon spray, vegetable oil, vaseline, 3-in-one, etc.

Also, please be aware that Motley Digging Tools are colored by a cosmetic powder coating process and will scratch and color fade with normal use. Therefore, this sort of wear is not covered by the warranty.
