There is more to the WS6-ST than just a wireless stereo headset. Your detector may be controlled by it as well! 

They may also function as a standalone device without the remote control and connect to the coil for a very lightweight and ergonomic setup. To maximize the control screen, target display, and all of the settings, the WS6-ST Module may be unclipped and put on the stem. 

1. WS6-ST slave of the remote. The remote control is the master and controls the coil, the functions and the settings. The WS6-ST works as an headphones only.
2. WS6-ST MASTER (+headphones): In this comfortable configuration, the WS6-ST controls the coil, adjusts all the settings, and displays the targets. The WS6 offers a very detailed graphic screen. 
3. WS6-ST MASTER (WS6-ST only): This is the lightest configuration. Here, the WS6 module is clipped to the headphones. The WS6-ST controls the coil, adjusts all the settings, and displays the targets. The WS6-ST offers a very detailed graphic screen.
